Taking place from February 20th to February 22nd, 2024, the GatherVerse Summit brought together communities from around the world. This marked Elisabetta Rotolo’s third consecutive year as a privileged participant in this groundbreaking event.
On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 7:55 am to 8:50 am (Pacific Time – Los Angeles) (4:55 pm to 5:50 pm CET), Elisabetta Rotolo led an invigorating Roundtable Panel opening, titled: “The Global AI Arms Race.”
The panel delved deep into critical topics, including AI Governance and Ethics, International Cooperation and Global Regulations, Balancing Innovation and Security, and Intellectual Property Rights and Participation of Emerging Economies. Elisabetta shared her insights and experiences, emphasising the importance of retaining humanity and authenticity in a world driven by technological advancements.
The GatherVerse Summit featured over 150+ distinguished speakers from government, academia, industry, and more. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from an eclectic mix of designers, producers, authors, advisors, podcasters, public policy advocates, researchers, security specialists, filmmakers, education experts, futurists, wellness practitioners, and global community leaders—all dedicated to adding real human value to technologies that connect us.
