Black Cats & Chequered Flags Concludes With Over 4,000 Visitors at Museo Ferrari

Black Cats & Chequered Flags has officially come to an end at Museo Ferrari Maranello, leaving behind something far more meaningful than an exhibition.

From 24 December to 5 January, nearly 4,000 visitors stepped into the world of Alberto Ascari — not only to observe his legacy, but to experience it from the inside.
They slowed down, listened, immersed themselves, and connected with a story where motorsport heritage met digital innovation, emotion, and memory.

This project was conceived as a bridge between past and future: a way to honour the legacy of Ascari while exploring how immersive storytelling can expand the language of cultural experience. The response from audiences of all ages confirmed that this approach resonates deeply and meaningfully.

We are profoundly grateful to everyone who contributed to this journey.
To the entire MIAT | Multiverse Institute for Arts & Technology team — creatives, technologists, designers, developers, producers and visionaries — thank you for believing in this project and bringing it to life with talent, dedication, and heart.

A sincere thank you to our partner Museo Ferrari for embracing the vision and welcoming this narrative into such an iconic and historically significant space.
We also extend our gratitude to PICO XR for their technological support and to INO-VR, whose guidance and early collaboration were instrumental in shaping the experience.

Above all, thank you to every visitor who entered the installation with curiosity, openness, and respect.
Your presence completed the story.

While this chapter closes, the journey of immersive narrative continues.
New stories are already in motion, stay tuned.
